Cape Fear River Watch is excited to partner with Keep New Hanover Beautiful for our Second Saturday Cleanup on March 11th! The cleanup will take place in an area that flows into Greenfield Lake! We will be focusing our efforts on the stormwater pond, ditches, creek, and the surrounding forest. If you have waterproof boots it wouldn’t hurt to bring them. They will be helpful in the creek and retention pond. The cleanup will take place from 9:00am-11:00am. We will be meeting at the cul de sac on Silver Stream Lane. An address that will get you close is 735 Medical Center Dr, Wilmington, NC 28401. Just look for the CFRW cleanup signs! CFRW will provide pickers,bags,gloves, and safety vests. As always remember to dress appropriately and bring water. We hope to see you out there!
