State of the River

For two successful years in a row, Cape Fear River Watch has hosted the State of the River Forum.

We look forward to bringing this important event every year to Southeast North Carolina.

We shared stories about the river, and the issues facing the basin. We heard from experts and we provided a Q and A with a panel of esteemed advocates and researchers. To top it off, we made this event free AND provided vegan/vegetarian breakfast and lunch!

We welcome you to join us for our next SOTR event, but until then check out our amazing speaker from previous years.
