See the frights and sights of Burnt Mill Creek on a one-hour walking tour. We’ll uncover the environmental threats haunting this watershed and how you can help fight them. Along the way, we’ll be on the lookout for creepy crawlers, from bugs and birds, to crabs and fish, to amphibians and reptiles of all sizes.
This tour is a treat for all ages. As always, we encourage bringing: sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), water, and comfortable walking shoes. Costumes encouraged! We will walk along an unpaved service road that may include sections of tall vegetation.
We will meet at 2000 Shirley Rd. in Wilmington. Parking is available past the gate in the grassy area along the service road.
