To learn more about Burnt Mill Creek and this ongoing project, join us for a leisurely, 1-hour walking tour along Burnt Mill Creek!
Burnt Mill Creek is an urban waterway in the heart of Wilmington. During the walk, as we search for wildlife, you will learn about the ecosystem, environmental issues, and ongoing restoration work in Burnt Mill Creek. Burnt Mill Creek harbors a surprising amount of wildlife, including turtles, birds, crabs, fish, and more.
This tour is free and open to all ages. Donations will be accepted. Please consider bringing: sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), water, and comfortable walking shoes.
Please meet at the Parking Lot located at 2101 Market St. Wilmington, NC 28401 (next to Port City Java and Bridge Church).
