Join us for our final ZOOM First Saturday Seminar featuring Dr. Peter Schumann for his talk “Anglers’ Willingness to Pay for Recreational Catch Improvements in the Cape Fear River”.

This seminar will take place on August 7th from 9am to 11am. Dr. Peter Schumann is a Professor of Economics at UNCW and earned his PhD in economics from NC State with field concentrations in environmental economics and statistics. His primary area of research is the non-market valuation of environmental goods and services, largely focused on coastal and marine resources and tourism in NC and the Caribbean. Dr. Schumann’s work includes consultancies with various national and international organizations and he has authored/coauthored more than 60 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and technical reports.
