This month, Bald Head Island Conservancy Coastal Scientist Allison Polinski will present on the importance of freshwater on Bald Head Island and how it is threatened by the surrounding saltwater environment. From alligator population and amphibian abundance surveys, to water quality monitoring through macro-invertebrate sampling, the Conservancy is diving all in to protect and further conserve this valuable natural resource.
